About this size: 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB
140 × 60 is more than twice as wide as tall (a ratio of 2.33), so crop tightly around the signature with a little white space on every side. Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, take the photo in good light and keep the paper flat. A white background compresses extremely well, which is why a signature easily fits in 20 KB.
Everything runs in your browser, so your signature is never uploaded. The preset sets the size to 140 × 60 px and the file size to 10–20 KB; you can change either in the options.
How to use it
- Drop your signature on the box, or click to choose a file. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC all work.
- The preset "Signature 140 × 60 px, 10–20 KB" is already selected. Move the frame to crop the part you want; its shape is locked to this size.
- Press Resize image. The tool finds the best quality that fits the file size.
- Check the preview and the size shown, then download the JPG and upload it to the form.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my signature look thin or broken at 140 × 60?
At that size a thin pen line can be less than one pixel wide. Use a thicker, dark pen (a gel or marker rather than a fine liner) and fill the width of the frame so the strokes are as large as possible.
How do I get the signature under 20 KB?
Choose the image, keep this preset and press Resize image. The tool lowers the JPG quality in small steps, and scales the picture down only if it has to, until the file is below 20 KB. The result shows the final size.
Does 1 KB mean 1000 or 1024 bytes?
Websites count differently, so the tool aims at 1000 bytes per KB for the maximum, which passes either way, and 1024 for the minimum.
Is my photo uploaded to your server?
No. The image is resized in your browser and never leaves your device.
