About this size: 350 × 350 px, 20–300 KB

A 350 × 350 square needs your face centred with some room around the head, because a square crop cuts the sides of a normal portrait. Drag the frame so the head and shoulders sit in the middle. At this size a good photo is usually 30–100 KB, so the 300 KB limit is rarely a problem, and the tool keeps quality high instead of squeezing it.

Everything runs in your browser, so your photo is never uploaded. The preset sets the size to 350 × 350 px and the file size to 20–300 KB; you can change either in the options.

How to use it

  1. Drop your photo on the box, or click to choose a file. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC all work.
  2. The preset "Photo 350 × 350 px, up to 300 KB" is already selected. Move the frame to crop the part you want; its shape is locked to this size.
  3. Press Resize image. The tool finds the best quality that fits the file size.
  4. Check the preview and the size shown, then download the JPG and upload it to the form.

Features

  • Exact size. 350 × 350 px, with the frame locked so nothing is stretched.
  • Exact file size. 20–300 KB. Too big is shrunk step by step; too small is padded to meet the minimum.
  • Private. Nothing is uploaded; the work happens on your device.
  • All presets. Switch to any other form size, or use pixels, cm, mm, inches or percent.

Frequently asked questions

Will a square crop cut off my head?

Not if you place the frame first. The frame is locked to a square, and you can drag and resize it over your face before you save. Start from a photo with space above the head.

How do I get the photo under 300 KB?

Choose the image, keep this preset and press Resize image. The tool lowers the JPG quality in small steps, and scales the picture down only if it has to, until the file is below 300 KB. The result shows the final size.

Does 1 KB mean 1000 or 1024 bytes?

Websites count differently, so the tool aims at 1000 bytes per KB for the maximum, which passes either way, and 1024 for the minimum.

Is my photo uploaded to your server?

No. The image is resized in your browser and never leaves your device.
