PDF Merger

Join several PDFs into one file, in the order you choose. Nothing is uploaded.

What is the PDF Merger?

Combining PDFs is one of the most common paperwork jobs: putting a form together with its supporting documents, joining scanned pages, or sending one file instead of five. Add your PDFs, put them in order, and download a single merged PDF.

Pages are copied exactly as they are, so text stays selectable, links keep working and images keep their quality. Files that need a password can be added too: you are asked for the password once, and the merged file opens without it.

How to use it

  1. Drop your PDF files on the box, or click to choose them. You can add more at any time.
  2. Put them in order: drag the cards, use the arrow buttons, or sort by name.
  3. Click Merge PDFs. The combined file downloads straight away.

Features

  • Any number of files. Merge two PDFs or two hundred; the only limit is your device’s memory.
  • Easy ordering. Drag and drop, arrow buttons for touch and keyboard, or sort by file name.
  • First-page previews. Each file shows its first page and page count, so the order is easy to check.
  • Lossless. Pages are copied, not re-drawn: text, links and images stay as they were.
  • Protected files. Enter a file’s password once and it merges like any other.
  • Private. Files are merged in your browser and never leave your device.

Frequently asked questions

How do I change the order of the files?

Drag a card to a new place, or use the left and right arrow buttons on it. “Sort A–Z” orders the files by name, which works well for scans named page1, page2 and so on.

Can I merge only some pages of a file?

Merge the whole files here, then open the result in Organize PDF Pages to delete or reorder pages, or use the PDF Splitter to take out a range first.

Will the merged PDF be bigger?

It is about the size of all the files added together. If it is too big to email or upload, run it through Compress PDF.

Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

Yes, if you know the password. You are asked for it when you add the file. The merged PDF has no password; add one with Protect PDF if you need it.

Are bookmarks and form fields kept?

Page content, links and annotations are kept. The bookmark list (outline) of each file is not copied into the merged file.

Is it safe to merge confidential documents here?

Yes. The files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to any server.
