What is the Crop Image?
Cropping removes what you do not need and frames what matters: a profile picture, a product photo, a screenshot or a scanned document. Drag the box, or type exact pixel values, and choose a ratio such as square for profile photos or 16:9 for video thumbnails.
You can also turn the image in 90° steps, flip it, and crop to a circle for round avatars. Everything happens on your device, and the result is saved at full quality.

Frequently asked questions
Does cropping reduce quality?
The crop keeps the original pixels. PNG output is lossless; JPG and WebP use the quality you set (92% by default), which is visually the same as the original.
How do I crop to an exact size like 1080 × 1080?
Choose the 1:1 ratio, then set “Output size” to 1080 wide. The cropped area is scaled to exactly that size.
How do I make a round profile picture?
Choose 1:1, tick “Circle”, and save as PNG. The corners outside the circle become transparent.
Can I crop a photo for an online form?
Yes, but the Image Resizer is quicker: it has ready-made sizes such as 200 × 230 px and can also bring the file under a size limit like 50 KB.
Is my photo uploaded?
