What is the Invoice Generator?
The Invoice Generator turns a simple form into a polished, print-ready invoice. Add your business details and logo once, fill in who you are billing and what for, and the preview updates as you type. Discounts, tax, shipping and round-off are worked out for you, and the total is written in words.
It suits freelancers, shops, consultants and small businesses anywhere: pick from 20 currencies, add a tax per item (VAT or sales tax) or no tax at all, and include bank details or a UPI QR code so customers can pay in one scan. Everything happens in your browser. Your invoices, client details and logo are saved only on this device, under My documents, so you can come back, copy last month’s invoice or start the next number in a click.
How to use it
- Enter your business name, address and logo. They are remembered for next time.
- Fill in who the invoice is for, the invoice number and the dates.
- Add your items with quantity and rate, and any discount, tax or shipping.
- Add bank details or your UPI ID so the invoice shows a pay-by-UPI QR code.
- Pick a template and colour, check the live preview, and click Download PDF.

Is this invoice generator really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many invoices you make or download.
Where are my invoices saved?
In this browser on this device, under My documents. They are not uploaded anywhere, so they will not appear on your other devices, and clearing your browser’s site data deletes them. Download the PDF of every invoice you send.
How do I number my invoices?
Use a simple sequence such as INV-0001, INV-0002. When you start a new invoice, the number goes up by one from your last one automatically. Numbers should be unique and never reused.
Can I make a GST invoice here?
You can choose GST as the tax, but the GST Invoice Generator is better for registered businesses in India: it adds GSTIN checks, HSN/SAC codes, place of supply, the CGST/SGST or IGST split and a tax summary.
Can customers pay from the invoice?
Add your UPI ID and the invoice includes a QR code with the exact amount; customers scan it with any UPI app. You can also add bank details, including SWIFT for payments from abroad.
What do the numbers in “Rates include tax” mean?
Turn it on when your prices already include tax. The invoice then works back to the price before tax and shows the tax inside it, so the total stays the same as your price.
