What is the QR Code Generator?

Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. The data is stored inside the code itself, so it works for as long as the link, UPI ID or details inside it are valid. There is no subscription or scan limit.
How do I make a QR code for UPI payments?
Choose UPI, enter your UPI ID (like name@okhdfcbank) and the name shown to the payer. Add an amount if you want a fixed price, or leave it empty so the customer enters it. Always test with a small payment first.
How do I share Wi-Fi with a QR code?
Choose Wi-Fi, enter the network name and password, and pick the security type (usually WPA/WPA2). When someone scans it with their phone camera, they can join without typing the password.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
Use PNG for websites, WhatsApp and documents. Use SVG for printing, especially large sizes like banners and standees, because it stays sharp at any size.
What is error correction?
It lets a code scan even if part of it is damaged or covered. Higher levels (Q, H) are more robust but make the code denser. M is a good default; use H if you plan to place a logo over the middle.
Why will my QR code not scan?
Make sure the dark colour is much darker than the background, keep the quiet margin around the code, print it at least 2 cm wide, and avoid very long text, which makes the code dense.
