About this size: 800 × 400 px, 50–100 KB
A declaration is a few lines of handwriting on white paper, so the shape is a wide 2:1 strip. Write in dark ink on unlined paper, photograph it flat, then crop so the text fills the frame. Larger lettering survives the reduction best, because 800 pixels across is far fewer than a phone camera captures.
Everything runs in your browser, so your declaration is never uploaded. The preset sets the size to 800 × 400 px and the file size to 50–100 KB; you can change either in the options.
How to use it
- Drop your declaration on the box, or click to choose a file. JPG, PNG, WebP and HEIC all work.
- The preset "Declaration 800 × 400 px, 50–100 KB" is already selected. Move the frame to crop the part you want; its shape is locked to this size.
- Press Resize image. The tool finds the best quality that fits the file size.
- Check the preview and the size shown, then download the JPG and upload it to the form.
Features
- Exact size. 800 × 400 px, with the frame locked so nothing is stretched.
- Exact file size. 50–100 KB. Too big is shrunk step by step; too small is padded to meet the minimum.
- Private. Nothing is uploaded; the work happens on your device.
- All presets. Switch to any other form size, or use pixels, cm, mm, inches or percent.
Frequently asked questions
Why does my handwriting look blurry after resizing?
Small or thin writing loses detail when 4000 pixels are reduced to 800. Write larger, with a thick dark pen, and fill the frame. The 50–100 KB range leaves enough room to keep it sharp.
How do I get the declaration under 100 KB?
Choose the image, keep this preset and press Resize image. The tool lowers the JPG quality in small steps, and scales the picture down only if it has to, until the file is below 100 KB. The result shows the final size.
Does 1 KB mean 1000 or 1024 bytes?
Websites count differently, so the tool aims at 1000 bytes per KB for the maximum, which passes either way, and 1024 for the minimum.
Is my photo uploaded to your server?
No. The image is resized in your browser and never leaves your device.
