What is the Watermark PDF?
A watermark marks a document as a draft, confidential or a copy, or shows who it belongs to. This tool stamps text or an image (such as a logo or a signature stamp) on every page or the pages you choose, at the size, angle, colour and transparency you want.
The preview shows the real result on any page before you save, so there are no surprises. The original content is not changed or re-compressed; the watermark is added on top.
How to use it

- Set the size, colour, transparency, angle and position, or tile it across the page.

Frequently asked questions
Can the watermark be removed later?
It is added as part of the page, like a stamp, so it cannot be switched off in normal PDF readers. Someone with PDF editing software could still edit it out, as with any watermark. To stop changes, also use Protect PDF.
How do I make a light, see-through watermark?
Lower the transparency slider to around 15–30% and use a grey colour. The default settings already give a soft diagonal watermark.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Choose Image and pick a PNG or JPG. A PNG with a transparent background looks best.
Can I write in Hindi or other Indian scripts?
Not yet. Text watermarks support English letters, accented European letters and symbols like ₹ and €. For other scripts, make an image of the text and use an image watermark.
Does it change the original file?
No. A new PDF is downloaded and your original stays as it was.
