Frequently asked questions
How many centimetres are in an inch?
Exactly 2.54 cm. A foot is 12 inches, or 30.48 cm, and a metre is about 3.281 feet.
How do I convert Celsius to Fahrenheit?
Multiply by 9/5 and add 32: °F = °C × 1.8 + 32. So 37 °C is 98.6 °F. To go back, subtract 32 and multiply by 5/9.
How many square feet are in a gaj?
A gaj is a square yard, which is exactly 9 square feet (about 0.836 square metres). A guntha is 1,089 square feet, and an acre is 43,560 square feet or 40 guntha.
What is the difference between MB and MiB?
A megabyte (MB) is 1,000,000 bytes; a mebibyte (MiB) is 1,048,576 bytes (1024 × 1024). Storage makers use MB and GB, while some operating systems report sizes in MiB and GiB, which is why a 1 TB drive shows about 931 GiB.
Why is a bigha not included?
A bigha is a different size in different states (and even districts), from about 1,600 to over 27,000 square feet. Convert from square feet using the local value instead.
