What is the Remove Duplicate Lines?
Paste a list of emails, phone numbers, keywords, product codes or log lines and get it back with every duplicate removed, in the original order. It is the quickest way to clean a mailing list, merge two lists or prepare unique values for a spreadsheet.
Options let you treat “Apple” and “apple” as the same, ignore stray spaces at the start and end of lines, drop blank lines, keep the last copy instead of the first, sort the result naturally (item2 before item10), or show only the lines that appear more than once.
How to use it
- Paste your list, one item per line, or upload a text or CSV file.
- Choose the options: case, spaces, empty lines, which copy to keep and sorting.
- The cleaned list appears as you type, with a count of what was removed.
- Copy the result or download it as a text file.
Example
apple banana apple banana cherry
apple banana cherry

Frequently asked questions
Does it keep the original order?
Yes. With sorting set to None, the first occurrence of each line stays where it was. Choose “Keep last” to keep the final occurrence instead.
How do I remove duplicates ignoring capitals?
Turn off “Case sensitive”. Lines that differ only in capitals are then treated as the same, and the first one is kept as written.
Can I find which lines are duplicated?
Yes. Choose “Duplicates only” to list each line that appears more than once, one time each.
Can I use it for CSV files?
Yes, it removes repeated rows when the whole row is identical. To remove rows that share only one column, sort or filter in a spreadsheet instead.
Is my list uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser.
