What is the Play Store Screenshot Maker?
Your store screenshots are the first thing people judge your app by. Plain screen captures rarely convince; the best listings show each screenshot in a device frame with a short headline that sells one benefit, on a background that matches the brand.
Upload your screenshots, write a headline for each, pick a background, font and frame, and choose the size for Google Play or the App Store. Every image updates live, keeps the same style across the set, and downloads as full-resolution PNGs in one ZIP, ready to upload to Play Console or App Store Connect.
How to use it
- Choose the store size: Google Play phone or tablet, or App Store 6.9" or 6.5".
- Upload your screenshots (raw captures from the phone work best).
- Write a short headline and optional subtitle for each one.
- Pick the background, text style and device frame.
- Download all as a ZIP, or one at a time, and upload them to your store listing.
Features
- Store sizes. Google Play phone 1080 × 1920, 7" and 10" tablets, and App Store 6.9" and 6.5".
- Device frames. Clean, brand-free phone frames in black, white or silver, or no frame.
- Headlines. A title and subtitle on each screenshot, above or below the phone, in seven fonts.
- Backgrounds. Gradient presets or your own two colours.
- One style for all. Change the style once and every screenshot updates together.
- Private. Everything is drawn in your browser; your screenshots are not uploaded.
Frequently asked questions
What size are Google Play screenshots?
Phone screenshots must be PNG or JPEG, 320 to 3,840 px on each side, with the long side no more than twice the short side. 1080 × 1920 (9:16) is the common choice. Upload at least 2 and up to 8 for each device type.
What size are App Store screenshots?
App Store Connect asks for iPhone screenshots for the largest displays: 6.9" (1320 × 2868) or 6.5" (1284 × 2778 or 1242 × 2688) in portrait. Smaller sizes are scaled from these.
What should I write on my screenshots?
One clear benefit per screenshot in 2–6 words, such as “Scan any QR code in a second”. Put your strongest feature first, since most people only look at the first two or three.
Can I use device images from Apple or Samsung?
This tool draws neutral, unbranded frames, which keeps you clear of trademark rules in store listings. Avoid showing another company’s device or logo unless their guidelines allow it.
