What is the Broadband Bill Generator?
The Broadband Bill Generator is made for local internet service providers, cable TV operators and Wi-Fi resellers who bill customers every month. Enter your company details once, then for each customer add the plan, speed, billing period and charges; GST at 18% is added and split into CGST and SGST (or IGST) for you.
Bills can carry the previous balance and any payment received, so the amount payable is always right, and a UPI QR code with that exact amount lets customers pay in seconds from Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm or BHIM. Start a new bill and the customer’s plan and charges carry over, with the next bill number ready.
Please use it only to bill services you actually provide. Making bills for services that were not provided, for example to claim a reimbursement, is fraud.
How to use it
- Enter your company name, address, GSTIN and logo.
- Add the customer’s name, installation address and phone.
- Fill in the bill number, dates, plan, speed and billing period.
- List the charges (monthly rental, router, installation…) and any previous balance or payment received.
- Add your UPI ID so the bill shows a pay-now QR code, and download the PDF.

What GST rate applies to internet services?
Internet and telecom services in India are taxed at 18% GST: 9% CGST and 9% SGST within a state, or 18% IGST for a customer in another state.
Can I use this to claim internet reimbursement from my employer?
Only with a genuine bill from your provider. Employers usually ask for the bill your ISP issues; making your own bill for a service you did not buy is fraud. Ask your provider to email you a copy instead.
How do I bill many customers each month?
Open a bill from My documents, click New bill to start the next one, change the customer and dates, and download. Each bill is saved separately in this browser.
Does the QR code include the amount?
Yes. The UPI QR code asks for the exact amount payable, including any previous balance, and carries the bill number as the payment note.
